🍴 Eat at the park
- Bratwurst with Stadium Sauce — It's Wisconsin — the brat is king. Get it with sauerkraut and the Brewers' famous 'secret' Stadium Sauce. Find it: Stands throughout the park.
- Jumbo Chippin' Away Brat — A potato chip-crusted brat topped with caramelized onion dip, sour cream, haystack onions and chives (2026 postseason menu).

- Bernie Brewer's Slide — From his chalet above left field, mascot Bernie Brewer waves a flag and rides the big yellow slide when the Brewers homer, as fireworks go off.
- Bob Uecker Statues — Two tributes to the Brewers' longtime radio voice: one near the home plate entrance, and a second showing Uecker seated in the very last row of Section 422 - a nod to his famous 'front row' commercial.
- The Selig Experience — An interactive exhibit on the Loge Level in the left-field corner telling the story of Bud Selig and Milwaukee baseball, with artifacts, multimedia and a hologram presentation.
Beyond the park
- Helfaer Field — A Little League and softball field in the ballpark parking lot, built on the infield footprint of demolished County Stadium, the Brewers' former home.

🚆 Getting to American Family Field
Most fans drive and tailgate in the lots ringing the park off I-94; without a car, the MCTS CONNECT 1 BRT to Wisconsin Avenue is the transit option, with about a 15-minute walk from the stop.
The Brewers list three MCTS routes within a 15-minute walk: CONNECT 1 BRT on Wisconsin Avenue stopping at Wisconsin & 45th, Route 18 on National Avenue at National & 43rd, and Route 74 at Miller Parkway & National Avenue. There is no stop at the gates, and many Milwaukee bars and hotels instead run their own shuttles that drop off near the Home Plate Gate.
This park was designed around the car: 16 official lots ring the ballpark in General and Preferred tiers, reached from I-94 via the Brewers Boulevard / Miller Park Way area exits, using license-plate recognition with passes bought in advance in the MLB Ballpark app or paid on site by QR code. Lots open three hours before first pitch (two and a half hours for weekday evening games), and tailgating in the lots is the pregame tradition.
Uber and Lyft use the designated Rideshare Lot at the south end of the Molitor Lot, reached via Bluemound Road and Yount Drive.
🛏️ Where to stay near American Family Field
Stay downtown — the park sits alone in the Menomonee Valley ringed by parking lots with no walkable hotel district, so visitors base in downtown Milwaukee and drive, rideshare or take a bar shuttle to the game.
- Downtown Milwaukee — About four miles east of the ballpark, a short drive or rideshare. The best all-round base, with the lakefront, the Riverwalk and shuttle bars on Old World Third Street close by.
- Historic Third Ward — Just south of downtown across the river, also a short ride to the park. Milwaukee's walkable restaurant-and-gallery neighborhood around the Milwaukee Public Market — stay here for dinner, not for walking to the game.
- Wauwatosa / Milwaukee West — West of the valley, the closest stays to the ballpark itself. A car-oriented, quieter base that makes sense when the game is the whole trip rather than a Milwaukee weekend.
🎟️ Game-day tips for American Family Field
Arrive early and tailgate — at this park the parking lot is the pregame, and lots open three hours before first pitch.
- Tailgate, then watch the clock — Tailgating is allowed in the lots around the park and is the heartbeat of the Brewers experience, with grills going hours before the game. It must wrap up 30 minutes after first pitch, when everyone heads inside or leaves.
- Be seated for the sixth and for home runs — The Famous Racing Sausages — Brat, Polish, Italian, Hot Dog and Chorizo — race around the warning track in the middle of the sixth inning. When a Brewer homers, Bernie Brewer slides down his slide above left field.
- The roof removes the weather gamble — The fan-shaped retractable roof, the only one of its kind in North America, opens or closes in about ten minutes, so Wisconsin weather rarely cancels a game. For open-roof day games, guides steer sun-averse fans to the first-base Loge side and away from the sun-facing third-base side.
Bags: Only single-compartment bags 9 x 5 x 2 inches or smaller, clear single-compartment bags 12 x 12 x 6 inches or smaller, and one-gallon clear resealable bags are permitted. Official policy.
