🚆 Getting to Comerica Park
Take the free QLINE streetcar on Woodward Avenue to the Montcalm Street stop by the park, or drive and use one of the many District Detroit garages and lots within a short walk.
The QLINE is a free streetcar running along Woodward Avenue connecting Downtown (Campus Martius, Foxtown, Comerica Park and Ford Field) with Midtown and New Center, and its Montcalm Street and Grand Circus stops serve the ballpark. City of Detroit transit guidance also lists DDOT and SMART buses serving downtown. The QLINE runs in street traffic, so allow extra time on busy game days.
Olympia Development operates parking across The District Detroit around the park, including the Tigers Garage, Comerica Garage, McLaren Garage and the 61 E. Elizabeth Lot, all within about a 10-minute walk. The Tigers Garage has an elevated pedestrian walkway directly into the stadium. Tailgating is not permitted in Olympia Development garages and lots.
The official rideshare drop-off and pick-up zone is at Lot 3, 75 E. Montcalm Street.

🎟️ Game-day tips for Comerica Park
For a sunny day game, sit on the first-base side — it stays shaded while the third-base side and right field take direct sun.
- First-base side for shade — Surveyed fans and seating guides agree the first-base side stays shaded during day games, while the third-base side and right field get strong direct sun. Night games can cool quickly after sunset, so bring a light layer.
- Arrive early for the statues and rides — A 15-foot tiger statue guards the main entrance and six bronze statues in left field honor Tigers legends including Ty Cobb and Al Kaline. Inside, the 50-foot Fly Ball Ferris Wheel and the hand-painted tiger carousel are signature first-timer stops before first pitch.
- Walk the concourse museum — The main concourse wraps the park with decade-by-decade Tigers history displays, and fans behind home plate look out over the outfield toward the downtown Detroit skyline. Give yourself time for a full lap before settling into your seat.
