🚆 Getting to loanDepot Park
Ride Miami-Dade Metrorail to Culmer Station and transfer to the free City of Miami Trolley toward the park in Little Havana, or drive to the park's own garages and lots off SR-836 and I-95.
The park has no rail station at its door. Ticketmaster's venue guide, summarizing the Marlins' information, lists Metrorail at the Culmer and Civic Center stops plus Metrobus and City of Miami Trolley routes, and other guides specify Culmer on both the Green and Orange lines with a transfer to the free Miami Trolley's Civic Center line, which stops near the park.
Parking is in four garages on the ballpark's north and south ends and six surface lots on the east and west sides, run on a free-flow plan with attendants directing fans to open spaces. Prepaid parking is sold through the team, but no specific garage is assigned in advance; fans without a prepaid pass pay by registering their plate in the PayByPhone app after parking.
Rideshare drop-off is located in East Lot 1 at 1380 NW 6th Street.
🛏️ Where to stay near loanDepot Park
Most visiting fans base themselves in Downtown / Brickell, a short ride west to the park, and use Little Havana itself for pregame food and culture.
- Brickell / Downtown Miami — Miami's high-rise core just east of the park, about 2 miles from Little Havana, with waterfront dining, nightlife and Metrorail / Metromover connections. Rides to the park from here are typically short outside peak traffic.
- Little Havana — The neighborhood the park sits in, centered on Calle Ocho (SW 8th Street) with Cuban restaurants, bakeries, cafés and a lively street scene. The closest, most local-flavor base, with the park walkable from parts of the neighborhood.
- Wynwood / Coral Gables — Two contrasting alternatives a ride away: Wynwood for art, dining and nightlife north of downtown, and Coral Gables for a quieter, more residential stay southwest of the park. Both are drives rather than walks to the game.
🎟️ Game-day tips for loanDepot Park
Weather is the park's superpower: the retractable roof and air conditioning take Miami heat and storms out of the equation — bring a light layer for when the roof is closed and the AC is running.
- Roof and skyline glass — The 8,300-ton retractable roof opens or closes in about 15 minutes to handle Miami's heat and tropical rain. When conditions allow, the six 60-foot retractable glass panels in the upper outfield wall give clear views of downtown Miami.
- Bobblehead Museum — Make time to wander: the park's Bobblehead Museum displays hundreds of bobbleheads, and guides praise the freedom to roam between standing-room bars and social spaces. The colorful, contemporary design is deliberately unlike a retro ballpark.
- Eat in Little Havana — The park stands on the former Orange Bowl site in Little Havana, and Calle Ocho nearby offers Cuban restaurants and cafés for a pregame meal that feels specific to this park. Inside, concessions lean into Cuban and Latin flavors.
Bags: Clear bags are permitted up to 16" x 16" x 8" and must be plastic, vinyl or PVC, with exceptions for small clutches no larger than 6" x 8" and bags for medical or infant purposes. Official policy.
