🚆 Getting to Rogers Centre
Take transit to Union Station — TTC Line 1 subway, GO Transit and the UP Express all converge there — then follow the SkyWalk or walk west on Front Street to the park.
Union Station is a short walk from Rogers Centre — about 5 to 10 minutes depending on the route — via the enclosed SkyWalk pedestrian bridge or west along Front Street. TTC subway Line 1 (Yonge-University), all GO Transit regional services and the UP Express from Toronto Pearson all serve Union Station. TTC streetcars 509 Harbourfront and 510 Spadina also stop within a few minutes' walk near Bremner Boulevard.
There is no general dedicated Rogers Centre parking lot. The Blue Jays note there are several independently owned parking facilities within walking distance, whose prices and availability are managed by the individual proprietors and are not connected with the club. Public lots within walking distance include Rees & Queens Quay, the Convention Centre, York St & Bremner Blvd, Front & Blue Jays Way and underground parking at Lower Simcoe St. The Rogers Centre underground lot's limited spaces are for guests with accessibility needs and must be reserved in advance. Drivers approach via the Gardiner Expressway, exiting at Spadina Avenue toward Bremner Blvd.
🛏️ Where to stay near Rogers Centre
Most visiting fans stay right downtown in the Entertainment District or along Front and King Streets, so the park, the CN Tower and Union Station are all a walk away.
- Entertainment District — The park's own downtown district, steps from the CN Tower. The densest concentration of bars, restaurants and hotels near the stadium, all within easy walking distance of the gates.
- King West / Front Street — Immediately north of the park along King and Front Streets. A lively dining and nightlife strip that is a short walk to Rogers Centre and to Union Station for transit.
- Harbourfront / Waterfront — South of the park along the lakefront and Queens Quay, a few minutes' walk away. A quieter, scenic base by the water, still walkable to the park and served by the 509 Harbourfront streetcar.
🎟️ Game-day tips for Rogers Centre
Hope for an open roof and sit on the third-base side: with the roof open it gets the shade in the afternoon and the best views of the CN Tower looming over the park.
- Third-base side for shade and the CN Tower — The batter faces north, which puts the third-base side in shade with the CN Tower in view, while the first-base side takes the afternoon sun when the roof is open. When the roof is closed, none of that matters and the whole park is climate-controlled.
- Roam the Outfield District — The park's renovations added a wraparound Outfield District of social spaces, bars and patios on the lower and upper levels in the outfield — general-admission standing areas designed for roaming rather than sitting, plus the Corona Rooftop Patio and TD Park Social on the 500 level.
- Use the SkyWalk from Union Station — The enclosed SkyWalk from Union Station leads directly toward the stadium, letting you avoid both downtown traffic and bad weather on the walk in. Gates open 90 minutes before first pitch on weekdays and two hours on weekends.
Bags: Bags are discouraged and subject to a security search; only bags smaller than 16 x 16 x 8 inches are permitted into the ballpark. Official policy.
