🍴 Eat at the park
- Toasted Grasshoppers — Oaxaca-style chapulines toasted with chili and lime — introduced in 2017, they sold so fast the park rationed them. Try them over garlic fries. Find it: Edgar's Cantina, Section 212.
- Area 206 Curry — Japanese-style tomato curry topped with crispy pork katsu — the warm-up bowl for a cool Seattle night. Find it: Tamari Bar.

🚆 Getting to T-Mobile Park
Take Sound Transit Link light rail to Stadium station — it offers the closest access via a pedestrian bridge, about a three-block walk to the gates.
The ballpark's public facilities district confirms Link light rail runs close to the park with stops at Stadium and International District/Chinatown stations, and Metro Transit and Sound Transit buses stop nearby. Stadium station is the closest, with the ballpark visible from the station. Sounder commuter trains serve nearby King Street Station, about a 10-minute walk away, with special event trains on select game days.
The T-Mobile Park parking garage (the Mariners Garage) has about 2,100 spaces, can be purchased in advance, and sits just south of the park across Edgar Martinez Drive. The Lumen Field Event Center and Union Station garages also provide convenient parking, and there are many private lots in SoDo. Interstate 5, Interstate 90 and State Route 99 all serve the park with clearly marked exits.
There is a designated rideshare lot southeast of the ballpark, a short walk — under five minutes — from most gates; check the rideshare app for the exact pick-up and drop-off location.
🛏️ Where to stay near T-Mobile Park
Most visiting fans stay downtown or in Pioneer Square and walk or ride Link one stop, since the park sits just south of downtown in SoDo.
- Downtown Seattle — Immediately north of the park, with the city's main hotel supply. Link light rail runs from downtown stations to Stadium station in minutes, and the walk south through Pioneer Square is straightforward.
- Pioneer Square — Seattle's historic original neighborhood, between downtown and the ballpark and next to King Street Station. Fans are advised to head to the stadium district early and eat here or in the Chinatown-International District before the game.
- SoDo / Stadium District — The ballpark's own industrial district, south of downtown and home to both T-Mobile Park and Lumen Field. The closest base to the gates, with a game-day rather than sightseeing feel outside event hours.
🎟️ Game-day tips for T-Mobile Park
Enter through The 'Pen gate in center field, which opens two hours before first pitch — 30 minutes before the other gates — for up-close bullpen views and an early happy hour.
- The 'Pen opens earliest — The 'Pen and center field gates open two hours early, while the rest of the park opens 90 minutes before first pitch. The 'Pen is a standing-room social area by the bullpens in left-center with up-close views of pitchers warming up and discounted food and drink in its first half hour.
- First-base side for the skyline, third-base side for shade — With the roof open, seats along the first baseline give the best views of the Seattle skyline beyond the left-field wall, but that side catches afternoon sun. The third-base side falls into shade sooner thanks to the upper-deck and roof overhang, making it the smarter pick for a day game.
- The roof is an umbrella, not a dome — T-Mobile Park's retractable roof slides over the park to shelter the stands and field without fully enclosing it, so the open-air feel — and cool air — remains even when it is closed. Skyline and, on clear days, Mount Rainier views appear when it is open.
Bags: Clear plastic or vinyl bags no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches and small clutch bags no larger than 4.5 x 6.5 inches are permitted; backpacks and larger bags are not, with exceptions for medically necessary items and single-compartment diaper bags. Official policy.
