🚆 Getting to Truist Park
There is no MARTA rail station at Truist Park in Cumberland — most fans drive to the Braves' lots, or ride MARTA Bus 12 to the Cumberland Transfer Center and transfer to the free Cumberland Circulator for The Battery Atlanta.
MARTA rail does not reach the park. Guides document MARTA Bus 12 from Midtown Station to the Cumberland Transfer Center / Cumberland Mall area, then CobbLinc's free Cumberland Circulator (Blue/Green routes) to The Battery and the ballpark, and CobbLinc Route 10 connecting from the MARTA Arts Center station.
The Braves sell parking in their own color-named lots and decks around the park, including Red, Green and Blue lots and the Delta Deck, and recommend pre-purchasing online — day-of parking is limited and card-only. The park sits at the I-75 / I-285 interchange, reached via I-285 Exit 20 (Cobb Parkway / US-41) or I-75 Exit 261 (Windy Hill Road).
🛏️ Where to stay near Truist Park
For a baseball-focused trip, stay in The Battery / Cumberland-Galleria area and walk to the game — downtown Atlanta is a longer drive away.
- The Battery Atlanta — The entertainment district built around the ballpark itself, with restaurants, bars and shops directly outside the gates. Staying here means walking to the game and skipping game-day traffic entirely.
- Cumberland / Galleria — The wider commercial area around the I-75 / I-285 interchange, near Cumberland Mall and the Cobb Galleria. Lodging here is generally within about a mile of the park, a walkable or very short ride distance.
- Downtown / Midtown Atlanta — Best if the trip is as much about the city as the game, with the widest dining and attraction choices. The ballpark is about 13 miles northwest, so expect a drive or a MARTA bus connection rather than a walk.
🎟️ Game-day tips for Truist Park
Arrive well before first pitch for The Battery, then walk the Monument Garden inside the park — Truist Park rewards arriving early more than most parks.
- Do The Battery first — The Battery Atlanta surrounds the gates with restaurants, bars and shops that stay active well before first pitch and long after the final out. Braves coverage notes fans arriving two to three hours early can join the pregame Braves Walk parade at the First Base Gate.
- Monument Garden — On the first-level concourse behind home plate, Monument Garden is an open-to-all-ticket-holders walk-through exhibit with the Hank Aaron tribute, retired numbers and the Braves Hall of Fame. Budget real time for it before the game, not during it.
- First-base side for late shade — Truist Park's sunny side is the third-base line and left field. For late-afternoon and evening shade choose the first-base line or right-field corner, or covered back rows behind home plate and in the 400 level under the roof.
Bags: Bags are not allowed at Truist Park, except for medical, diaper and breast-pump bags and small single-compartment clutches no larger than 5" x 9". Official policy.
